Robin (Linde) Steegman

I’m a bilingual actress and maker, trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where I received two years of full funding from the Joop van den Ende Foundation. I lived and worked in London for fifteen years and have been based in the Netherlands since 2020.

My work balances sharp comic timing with an emotional undercurrent: awkward humour that doesn’t beg for a laugh. Most recently I played the lead in Mom of the Guys (Philip & Hugo, 2026), and I have a recurring role in Hoor je mij at PhilZuid, which returns every two years. I have worked three times with director Danny Sangra, who wrote the short film Nobody Needed for me.
Alongside acting I make my own work. For five years I ran Robin Linde Productions in London, writing, directing and producing site-specific theatre and film, including The Caravan Theatre. Since being selected for the Veerhuis talent programme in 2024 I have been writing as well.
